In step with modern ecological awareness, Franklin & Marshall wants to play its part in creating a minimal impact on the environment.

Our Goal

Eco Friendly Materials

Manufacture half of our collection with eco friendly materials within four years, and to sustainably source all ofour garments by 2030. So far, we have started replacing our cottonswith eco-friendly ones and included recycled polyester in ourproduction methods. All our eco-friendly items are recognizable by their hangtag, which highlights the story and origin of the fabric

Sustainable

The Organic Cotton Project

Organic cotton is a well-known centrepiece of sustainable fashion. It’s made using low impact methods and its cultivation requires no chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified seeds. So far, 10% of our garments are manufactured with Oeko-text standard 100 organic cotton, and we aim to use it in the whole collection shortly. When you choose these sustainable items, they will give you the same look, performance, durability, and high strength as the traditional ones.

Sustainable

The Recycled Polyester project

Developing innovative materials and discovering low-impact production methods are essential duties in our daily work. We produce the entire beachwear collection in recycled polyester, an eco-friendly material that has a lot of advantages. It's sourced from waste plastic bottles, encouraging the reuse of the 8 million tons of plastic that contaminate our oceans. Additionally, its manufacture requires low-energy consumption, and it produces 79% fewer carbon emissions than virgin polyester does. Eventually, garments made with this material can be re-recycled too. We also use recycled polyester for some outerwear, and our plastic packaging bags are also entirely made of this recycled material.
